That jig is too small for 30 inchers. I fish with live bait the size of the first 6 or so fish u caught for 30 inchers

When you put your shrimp in throw in some frozen okra. Or if you are doing crabs, put the frozen okra or steam in bag veggies while you are doing your after boil soak. Helps to cool the water and cooks the veggies at the same time. I also use frozen water bottles to cool the crab boil and get the juice into the crabs. To answer someone above you should be able to do about a dozen medium crabs in the bucket.

I was flounder fishing today from shore today for the first time and a boat ran over my line pretty much spooling me completely and I literally just re spooled yesterday. Guy said sorry and just kept going. I also lost my new Luer.

I've had decorative mini ponds I dug in my yard for many years now. We're talking 3-4 diameter and maybe 18" deep. I've had so many little creatures, thousands of tadpoles every year, woodlouse and other little swimming things that I can't identify. Last summer I put in 8 goldfish, 6 are still alive after winter, they keep the water so clean. I don't have pumps or filters or anything just a hole with 2 layers of basic pond liner and rocks/flagstone around the edge. I do have solar powered fountains that float at the top that I got off Amazon.

Can I fishing at night use headlights too? I like fishing crappies at night so quiet and the water calm down…

Which led light for fishing crappie at night ? I don’t have boat….so I like at night so quite, as soon as dark, the sun comes down, I start to catch crappie, but after an hour later starts to slow down catch too, but I don’t have try out after midnight yet like you said it…I’m might try out if I can catch more fish too…thanks again

Nate, get a piece of a broom handle about 8 inches long and nail a beer cap on one end. Makes a great fish skin holder when removing the meat off of the skin. The lawnmower made my dog start barking.😂
